LIFE SKILLS FOR PUPPIES

We currently offer Life Skills for Puppies courses which are run by experienced behaviourists from the University of Lincoln.

Our classes are for puppies who are from 8 weeks up to 20 weeks of age on the first class and have had at least their first vaccination (vaccination card will be needed as proof). Our courses cover exercises such as the positions sit, down and stand, come when called and ‘leave’ etc. Training is done using kind and effective reward based methods and there are controlled social interactions and an emphasis on preventing behaviour problems within the classes.

Life Skills for Puppies is a 7 week course. The first week is an introduction to the course and lasts an hour and a half (including refreshments) and is without puppies, the following 6 weeks are with puppies and are each one hour in length. The course cost is £125 for the 7 weeks and includes a copy of the new book ‘Life Skills for Puppies’ which accompanies the course. For more information about the next course and availability please see the Life Skills website.
